Wow what can we say apart from a huge thank you to everyone that come along, took part or was involved in supporting the show we pretty much were at capacity and feel on the whole it went rather well.
We always have little things we could do better and will look to improve but the ABVWC welcomes anybody who wants to get involved as we are pretty much a skeleton crew and could always do with judges or marshals but roll on 2020.

This oil guide summarizes the variety of oil grades available to classic VW
owners, and users, for certain climate conditions and kinds of usage.
In light of climate change and the extremes of temperature we experience in the
UK, it may be worth considering changing the type of oil you use. Another factor
is whether your vehicle is driven regularly in heavy traffic or on the motorway –
travelling to and from events, for instance. Modern E10-E85 petrol can make your
engine run hotter; the higher API number means the oil is more stable and is less
prone to break down at higher temperatures; SN (or ILSAC GF-5) oils being best
suited for Ethanol. After all, engine oil is also a cooling medium in both air-cooled
and water-cooled engines. Thus, it is important to carry out regular oil changes,
even with high performance synthetic oil, and keep the level topped up to just
under the maximum level, which will help to minimise oil consumption.
